What is Heat Reflective Paint

What is thermal heat reflective paint?

Thermal Heat Reflective Paint is a high-performance coating designed to reflect both sunlight and infrared radiation, reducing surface temperatures and preventing heat buildup.

How does thermal reflective paint work?

Instead of absorbing heat, it bounces back visible light and infrared radiation.  As a result, surfaces coated with thermal reflective paint stay significantly cooler, reducing thermal stress and improving comfort inside buildings or vehicles.

What are the benefits?

  • Lower surface and interior temperatures

  • Reduced cooling costs and energy savings

  • Extended lifespan of roofs and building materials due to less thermal expansion and contraction

  • Protection against harmful UV rays

Where can thermal reflective paint be used?

It can be applied anywhere heat buildup is a concern and energy savings are desired.

  • Commercial Roofs
  • RV, Camper Roofs
  • Exterior Walls
  • Ambulance Roofs
  • Food Truck Roofs

It is widely used on flat and sloped roofs, metal structures, warehouses, concrete surfaces, storage tanks, shipping containers, and even vehicles exposed to sunlight.

As global temperatures rise and energy costs surge, building owners are searching for smarter ways to reduce indoor heat and cut cooling expenses. One highly effective solution is using reflective heat paint—specially formulated coatings designed to reflect solar energy and reduce heat absorption on building surfaces.

Compared to traditional cool roof coatings, Tekton® 88 is engineered for both commercial and industrial use—where high-performance specs and long-term durability matter most.

By reducing the amount of heat entering your building or vehicle, heat reflective roof coatings can significantly cut your carbon footprint. Cooler buildings and vehicles use less air conditioning, which translates into lower emissions and utility bills.
