How to Apply TK77 Speaker Box Coating

Cleaning

Spray Gun: Recommended with Chemicar's Economy Spray Gun model: RA/88.
Paint Roller: Recommended with the supplied Trim Roller or a 3/8” nap for semi smooth to smooth surfaces.
Apply at minimum 60°F and a thickness of 20 mils (0.5 mm).
Apply two applications for a total thickness of 40 mils (1 mm).
Wait to apply the second coat until the first coat is dry to the touch (estimated 1-2 hours depending on temperature, humidity and air movement).
Do not dilute with water or any other chemical.
Can be cleaned with water (damp cloth) when wet.
Clean equipment immediately after use.
Tekton®77 has to be removed mechanically when dry.

Tekton®77 should not be exposed to temperature below 60°F during the application and curing process.
At 77°F and RH 55%, the Speaker Box Coating will be dry to touch after 1-2 hours.
After 6 hours only light handling is recommended.
72 hours after application the coating will be fully cured.
Allow the coating to fully cure before exposing to water, cold weather and heavy usage.
Make sure newly coated boxes are properly cured before stacking.

Do not freeze and do not store in direct sun.
Use only outdoors or in a well ventilated area.
Use proper protective eye wear/clothing.

If stored between 45°F and 80°F, shelf life will be 1 year for unopened containers.
